Ndrangheta. The Liquid Mafia. In order to expose the international networks of the Calabrian mafia, our crew will travel to Spain, the Netherlands, Australia, North and South America and, of course, Germany where ‘Ndrangheta made its bloody international debut in August 2007, gunning down six young Italians outside a pizzeria in Duisburg. The documentary will combine contemporary interviews, audio recordings, never-before-seen footage from the archives of Italian and international law enforcement, and dramatic recreations of ‘Ndrangheta’s initiation rituals and criminal summits. « back |
